The Conversion Process

Planning is always a process, too.

If this process is open, it can create local knowledge and spaces for new ideas, leave the unknown and encourage innovation. Being the largest land conversion process in the history of Fürstenfeldbruck, it is crucial that future targets are discussed among everyone involved on a municipal level and that open communication lays the foundations for a joint implementation. It is a great opportunity to learn from each other and develop a future image of our town together, which will shape the identity of Fürstenfeldbruck.

There are no hard and fast rules for dialogue and participation.

The town council and the administration choose the respective process in order to gain expert knowledge, find out about the needs and wishes of its citizens and take them into account when preparing decisions or planning activities. Statutory procedures can be combined with informal types of participation designed to be transparent and open for all citizens.

This website presents all relevant information about the conversion process paving the way for an effective public participation. If citizens want to become actively involved in the conversion process, they can visit the website “Brucker Stadtgespräche” (Fürstenfeldbruck’s Talk of the Town) where they will find all public participation processes initiated by the municipality.
