Students of Viscardi Secondary School Plan a Sustainable Part of Town

As their project seminar in urban geography did not have a particular topic, the 11th grade students of Viscardi-Gymnasium (Viscardi Secondary School) chose the redevelopment of the air base as their seminar topic and worded the following aim:
“The aim of the project is to develop a sustainable (attractive) self-sustaining part of town at the site of Fürstenfeldbruck air base taking into account social, economic and ecological factors.”
A project seminar for career guidance purposes is part of secondary education in Bavaria and is designed to help students choose a career and a degree. For one year, two groups of students were working on this project which was implemented in cooperation with external partners.
