    The exis­ting sports are­as at the air base are to be acqui­red in due time as an alter­na­ti­ve to the pre­vious­ly plan­ned sports cen­ter 2. Embedded in an “over­all sports faci­li­ties con­cept FFB”, deve­lo­p­ment con­cepts are to be ela­bo­ra­ted inclu­ding, among other things, a needs assess­ment, a con­cep­tu­al dis­tri­bu­ti­on to sports cen­ters 1–3, tar­gets, mea­su­res, prio­ri­ties, orga­niza­tio­nal and ope­ra­ting models as well as a long-term finan­cial planning.

    The exis­ting woo­ded are­as, in par­ti­cu­lar the one situa­ted west of the air base, are to be desi­gna­ted for lei­su­re, recrea­ti­on and natu­re expe­ri­ence clo­se to the town. This requi­res an ear­ly coor­di­na­ti­on regar­ding eco­lo­gi­cal requirements
